| General note | A Advocacia-Geral da União foi criada em 1988 pela Constituição Federal para representar judicial e extrajudicialmente a União, compreendendo os atos praticados pelos três Poderes da República (Legislativo, Executivo e Judiciário), com atribuição, também, de prestar consultoria e assessoramento jurídicos somente ao Poder Executivo. Apesar da novidade e importância da Advocacia-Geral da União, ela somente veio a ser efetivamente regulamentada quase cinco anos depois de sua criação, com a Lei Complementar nº 73, de 10 de fevereiro de 1993. |
