"En este sitio arqueológico destaca la Gran Pirámide, la de mayor volumen en Mesoamérica, la cual esta coronada por un templo católico. En la pirámide fueron excavados diversos túneles para revelar, al menos, cinco diferentes etapas de construcción. La cerámica de Cholula es de extrema belleza debido a su acabado policromo tipo laqueado, decorado con una rica variedad de figuras y motivos." (p. 3). |
