" ...un texto clásico de etnografía cuyos materiales se recogen en 1932. No se puede decir que se base en un trabajo de campo tal como se considera hoy día pero el autor, Albert Klemm, realizó diversas investigaciones in situ, visitó varios pueblos de la provincia de Ávila y recogió abundante documentación sobre dos aspectos fundamentalmente: etimologías y cultura material, o sobre "Palabras y cosas". Ésta es precisamente la denominación del grupo donde se encuadra (Worter und Sachen) en la llamada Escuela de Hamburgo que, bajo la dirección de Fritz Krüger, trató de unir filología y etnografía" (page 9). |
