From backcover: La narrativa de Claudia Apablaza no se juega en el cruce de calles que van hacia la avenida. Prefiere pasajes, calles chicas. Tampoco los moldes del museo de cera vienen bien a la representación de una gran vida, digna de ser vivida doscientos años después. Por el contrario, diseña mapas falibles, negados, en los que la existencia de los seres humanos se resume en su sombra: letras, números, combinatorias. Innegable también la parodia que socava las sentenciosas imaginaciones novelescas de nuestros tiempos; la ironía de nudo grueso que deja ver las protuberancias en el tejido. EME/A es el catálogo de naves que Apablaza propone desde su invención de una fábula negativa; una en la que el sujeto debe ser creado por el lector, probablemente, calzando con la efigie de la autora.
